Everyone experiences things not going as they would like them to go. I avoid people who respond to that situation by going on and on about morons everyone else is. But when you experience things like that, you say, "we were in bad moods," or "it was difficult," or "there was a mean man" or "it was not really our kind of town" or "we were having trouble communicating." I like the way you carefully clarified, "We like solving things back home, it's just hard to switch back and forth smoothly."THhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16644827372702064465noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7453396459741922728.post-45201023936126094632010-10-26T09:42:25.799-04:002010-10-26T09:42:25.799-04:00Great Queen Anne's lace photo!Great Queen Anne's lace photo!THhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16644827372702064465noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7453396459741922728.post-79287726079235572572010-10-26T09:41:02.463-04:002010-10-26T09:41:02.463-04:00I love the story about Brett being happy making br...I love the story about Brett being happy making breakfast, and then farther along, the photo of you looking happy. I think as I was scrolling down, first I saw the smiles, and started to form the thought that you looked happy, and then I saw the caption that said the same thing.THhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16644827372702064465noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7453396459741922728.post-34927019433672193002010-10-25T16:48:16.333-04:002010-10-25T16:48:16.333-04:00The Pacific Coast Highway is one of, if not the, m...The Pacific Coast Highway is one of, if not the, most scenic roads in the U.S. and you have experienced it in the best possible way: slowly from the vantage point of a bike. How I wish I may someday have the opportunity to do that. What a great adventure and such a beautiful ending to spend it as you have traveling down the coast. I think you will love California. I lived there for 6 years and enjoyed every moment there. Thanks for sharing the grand tour de U.S. Ride on.......Rickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09716119572329000625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7453396459741922728.post-73656752647266318632010-10-25T11:14:20.743-04:002010-10-25T11:14:20.743-04:00I suspected the Pacific coast would be your favori...I suspected the Pacific coast would be your favorite part of the trip: wonderful weather, scenery, wildlife. Who could ask for anything more. Bless that "mean man." How could he live in the area and be mean?! One never knows what troubles he's experiencing, but it is small comfort for the persons on the receiving end!linkelyhttp://playalways.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.com
